The National Institute Of Open Schooling (NIOS) Is An Educational Organization Which Comes Under Ministry Of Education.
 
It is a Central Board viz. The Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE). Certificates issued by NIOS are recognized for higher education, government jobs and for all other purposes.
